We have always offered a warm welcome to visitors to the layout in Bournemouth, and have hosted many successful visits over the years. We are often contacted by clubs or model groups, and also by individuals who would like to operate the layout.

We intend to restart group visits to the railway in due course once we have finished our internal operator training.

Please be aware that there are some physical access limitations to the railway. It is located on the second floor of an older property, so all visitors must be able to navigate two flights of stairs. It’s also located in a private home which deserves respect and politeness.

We have a minimum age requirement of 14, and anyone between 14-17 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Railway Club Groups

We limit group visits to a maximum of eight people.

Individuals

Individual visitors are also welcome to get in touch.

All visitors will be encouraged to operate the layout with our team and will need to show some competence in driving digital trains (DCC) and have an understanding of how the railway is operated
